Your tutorial on the self publication was very well done, congrats!
I just remained with one question: who own the rights of the book?
In other words, can I publish this same book in other sites (like my own and apple store – or any other that does not own the copyrights).
I understand that the KDP would not be a good selection because it requires exclusivity for a while and I can’t do that…but besides KDP, can I publish in multiple sites? Do I sill own the book copyrights?
Thanks for the help
cheers

Mauro,
If you wrote the book then you are the copyright owner and have the right to publish your book anywhere including Apple IBookstore, Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Smashwords, etc. I also recommend registering a copyright of your book. It is (US) $35 and well worth it. If you are ever plagiarized, or your work stolen, a registered copyright offers more protection — even internationally. See http://www.copyright.gov/eco/
Amazon KDP is Kindle Digital Publishing and you DO want to publish with them. The only exclusivity with Amazon is if you opt in for Amazon Kindle Select — then you can only publish your book with Amazon. If you want a broader market, then do not choose Kindle Select when publishing to Amazon.
Hope this helps — Suz
