SIGIL works with EPUB files. But did you know that Kindle Digital Publishing accepts EPUB files for upload? However, there is one issue you will want to correct before uploading to Kindle. (NEWS: the grapevine says Kindle e-readers will soon be able to “read” EPUB documents.)
Download and Install SIGIL (free) Ebook Editor
- Go to: SIGIL http://code.google.com/p/sigil/
- On the left you see the different downloads under the “Featured” heading.
- Choose what is best for your operating system.
- Install the Program
- Watch the video to change your formatted EPUB into a Kindle file
